Great personal service. Employees are very nice. Prices were acceptable.
Genuinely good guy. Called to see if they had a spot open because my work van had been in a collision and wouldn't start, despite having no outer damage. He said they were booked for the day, but talked me through finding the fuel reset switch which I'd never heard of. He was literally going to drive out here and show me personally, but I found it before wasting his time. Would highly recommend, we don't have enough decent businesses like this left in the world.
Great friendly service!! Good prices and would definitely recommend to others. Best repair shop in Peru by far!!!!
After being treated unfairly by other shops in town, I finally found an honest repair shop!
This is absolutely the worst mechanic shop in the area. Bart took my transmission out so I could send it to Fort Wayne to get rebuilt and then he put it back in for me. I had to rent a car for over a week longer than what he originally told me. My vehicle when returned got 8 miles to gallon when normally it gets 11 to 12 miles per gallon when I told Bart this and he said we don't have anything to do with that that's not my responsibility. My truck wouldn't shift correctly and drove much worse than when I brought it in. They failed to plug in an oxygen sensor correctly which gave a check engine light and then proceeded to tell me that I had a bad ECM and pressured me to immediately buy one for several hundred dollars or I'd pay more later. So now I had more problem than when I brought it to him. I knew where this was heading so told him to put it back together and left. This time they snapped the oxygen sensor in correctly and I drove off with no more check engine light on and they had no idea they accidentally fix the problem they said I was going to need a new ECM for. I drove my truck all the way up to Russ Moore in Fort Wayne who rebuilt the transmission so they could fix what Percision auto could not in 15 minutes my truck was fixed and I was heading back to Kokomo. The guy said The Peru shop failed to reprogram the transmission. The Fort Wayne shop was dumbfounded they didn't do this. Now a couple months later I had to take it to another mechanic because the transmission mount was slipping because they failed to put my transmission back in properly. Absolute worst mechanic don't ever go there, I feel fortunate to have gotten out with as little damage as I did. Ask locals for recommendations for shops in Peru don't rely on these fake 5 star ratings. He is far from 5 star
