Third time using their service and it's been the same each time.
Good customer service but slow
I try to support local businesses whenever I can and some of the best repair shops I've ever used were "hole-in-the-walls". However, Kbytes either has more business than they can handle or they're inept or some combination of the two. Either way I won't be doing business with them again. 3+ business days just to get an estimate is unacceptable.
• No contact from Kbytes on Wednesday. I contacted them throughout the day with no one answering the phone. I left messages, no call-backs by Kbytes. I finally reached them around 4pm and they still had not even looked at my laptop to give me an estimate. I retrieved my laptop from them at 6pm. [+3 businees days]
This morning I addressed the issue with the lady that works there, and she was very responsive. She didn't realize that the repair guy had not called me back when she had left him slips to do so.
This is the place to go for all your computer needs. The people there will go over and beyond to help you. They don't just sell you something. They will work with you and explain things to you. I was treated like family.

They do great work, but the communication is terrible! I'd like to know when my device is going to take longer than expected so I'm not just waiting to come get it. Id like to know when the part comes in so I can drop off my device. I'd like to know when my device is done so I can come get it.
