A real recreational highlight in Miami County, Mississinewa has a great deal to offer in terms of outdoor activities. A beach, spillway, numerous fishing and boating areas, picnic shelters as well as an extensive nature trail. I spent many a summer weekend laying on the beach here!

The park is nice. I went there for camping and fishing. There is only one sign when you first get in the park telling you where to turn . When you get to the next intersection you can pick one of four ways to go and the same at the next Nothing to tell you where the campgrounds are. The restrooms were so hot , you feel like passing out. The water was push buttons. Each push is good for about 2 sec. Not long enough to wash your hands or shave. The shower was the same. I had to push that button at least fifty times only to leave pissed off. If you are not going to have water hookup at least make it so we can use the restrooms and take a shower. It was clearly marked where the concession stand was located.
The Nature and beauty are Great, but don't plan on enjoying them peacefully for long. DNR bullies will surely break that up for you.
Many public access sites surrounding the gorgeous reservoir offer countless recreational opportunities. Many interpretive programs offered as well.
If sure like to meet you off grounds and see your same attitude, It wouldn't last long with me !!!
Sorry about you choice of life bit don't take it out in people that pat your wage and show up to enjoy the park. I really believe he just come,up on us to get a look at my wife ??
