Cos there are pretty nicer than any other jail I have been to
Miami Co Sheriffs has always been responsive and their response times are good. They have a tough and mostly unwanted job now, but I commend them for their service, and unselfishness. I spent 22 yrs in law enforcement, and I've watched the changes over the years. It hasn't gotten easier and it takes strong willed people who are truly dedicated to the job, which at most isn't appreciated until you need them. They are working their hearts out and for little appreciation. I hope, everyone realizes, That this is a very hard Job, and Not always appreciated. I want to Say Thank You to to all of Them for taking on a responsibility and challenge very few would. It takes courage , a love for the law and pride. You guys are doing great. Remeber your safety (the public) is in these competent hands. You can complain and gripe about them, but every night they go home, they are thankful they made it through another day. You serve without thanks, but I am thanking all of you. So should the community.
